5 ways to find happiness

Let me let you in on a few secrets on how to find happiness

These are five of my tips…..

1. Learn to LET-GO: Hardest but the most rewarding of all to be happy

2. Happiness does NOT depend on what you have or who you are.  It solely relies on what you THINK: Thinking positive & seeing the good in everything can keep you happy, believe in yourself!  Simply be mindful and be aware of your thoughts.   Acknowledge unwanted negative thoughts (thinking of the past or future) and let go them completely so you can concentrate on feeling grateful for the present moment.

3. Admire without desiring: Be truly happy for others and your self,  never compare.  Let go of desires and wanting what others have, what you have is enough for you to be happy.  You have the power to be happy within you,  celebrate that ability but be humble!

4. Be grateful and content with yourself:  Think of all the goodness inside you, and what you have right now and be grateful for it.  Feel at peace with where you are and what you have.  We are enough!

5. Do what you love and moves you: Follow your heart, and do the things that truly makes you happy.  Every action taken has to be thought of to make sure they do not hurt you or anyone else in any way.

Do you have any tips that can be added to my list?

Wishing you a happier more peaceful life!

Tuesday Truth: Scientiffic guide to life

Tuesday 07 April 2015

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.”

-Buddah

Do not just believe anything without first analyising it to see if it agrees with what you consider right in your heart!

what it means to be free….

“Freedom is the will to be responsible to ourselves.”

– Friedrich Nietzsche

Simple truth: freedom…..

I thought I will be free if I am financially free, but no not really, if you think about it there are many other things in our daily life we usually call “stresses” that take our freedom away from us.  So to be really free you have to be free from suffering, greed, and emotions that drive us crazy every day.  We make choices every day that either makes us free or not, here are some instances where you can practice your freedom.

You will feel free when you

  • Choose to forgive instead of holding on to negative feelings.
  • Love yourself no matter what.
  • Appreciate what you have now instead of thinking about what you had or may have in future.
  • Live in the now and put away thoughts of past or future.
  • Are mindful of your thoughts, acknowledge negative thoughts to let go of them.
  • Do the best you can to correct an otherwise unpleasant situation.
  • Realise that nothing last forever not even the earth we live on.

Teaching ourselves to make these positive choices will free our minds from the draining negative thoughts which ultimately will lead us to inner peace also known as happiness and contentment.

May you find your happiness through freedom!

About this blog…

I simply want to express and discuss my opinions and views about what is real and true to me.  As I believe for us to be free we need to keep it real and as close as possible to our natural humaness.  Increasingly it is becoming difficult for us to  find the truth in amognst a hazy life filled with a lot of nonsense.   This is my attempt at discovering my self, finding the truth that is out there but clouded and hidden beneath the busy daily life in order to find true happiness.

I am no writer, so please excuse my bad spelling and grammar etc, what I feel is a passion for how we as humans should be living on this planet wit real qualities that helps us to be a great species.

So lets talk about life…..  lets discover the truth that matters to our well being in order for us to feel free……

It all begins with a thought

“All that we are is the result of what we have thought: it is founded on our thoughts and made up of our thoughts. If a man speak or act with an evil thought, suffering follows him as the wheel follows the hoof of the beast that draws the wagon…. If a man speak or act with a good thought, happiness follows him like a shadow that never leaves him.”
― Buddah

How to be happy?  Have good thoughts that makes you happy pay attention to your thoughts then acknowledge and let go of bad/evil thoughts.

Good thoughts = Happiness:)

If we practice this simple truth, we can practice being happy!
